Housing.com and PropTiger Merged To Form India’s Largest Online Retail Service Company

PropTiger.com and Housing.com- announced today they have merged to form the country’s largest online retail services company. As part of the deal, the new company will receive a new US$55 million investment. US$50 million will come from REA Group Limited, an ASX-listed company specialising in property, and an affiliate of SoftBank Group Corp. will invest US$5 million.

Malaysia-based salon booking service Bfab received a “six-figure USD” funding from existing investor Captii Ventures. Captii, 500 Startups, and KK Fund injected seed funding into the startup last year, prior to its launch. Citycell Will Resume Its Service For Now

Citycell will resume its services shortly after the telecom regulator reinstated its suspended spectrum yesterday evening, said a senior official of the operator. If the mobile operator fails to pay Tk 100 crore to the telecom regulator by November 19, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission can cancel its spectrum again, the Supreme Court said in its order.

Samsung Plans To Launch AI Assistant Service For Galaxy S8

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said it would launch an AI digital assistant service for its upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone, seeking to rebound from the Galaxy Note 7’s collapse and differentiate its devices. Samsung plans to integrate the San Jose-based company’s artificial intelligence platform, called Viv, into the Galaxy smartphones and expand voice-assistant services to home appliances and wearable technology devices.
