Frontier Singapore Invests US$1.12M In Finnish Gaming Startup Snowfall

Finnish mobile gaming startup Snowfall that creates mobile games based on Moomins, has announced it has raised €1 million (US$1.12 million) funding. The round was led by Frontier Singapore, which is the Singaporean chapter of Helskini-based seed accelerator Frontier. The company plans to use the newly-raised capital to expand its presence in Asian markets including Japan and Singapore.

ASUS Announces Two Gaming Monitors

At the 'Republic of Gamers Unleashed event' in San Francisco, ASUS has announced two new gaming monitors. Both displays are 27-ince IPS panels, with color depths of 8-10 bit. Both monitors have 2x 2W Stereo. Asus has also included a new button which lets users switch between two refresh rates (144Hz and 165Hz). It will eliminate telecine judder in 24fps

NVIDIA Releases 355.60 Drivers

Officially NVIDIA is releasing this as their preferred Game Ready driver for the Ashes of the Singularity tech demo, which is due later this month. Built on the same Nitrous engine, Ashes will be the first DirectX 12 enabled consumer software to be released, though in very early form as a tech demo ahead of its 2016 launch.
