The Tech Ops & Infrastructure Lead will be in charge of operating and maintaining the technical infrastructure which Telenor Digital’s health project will be built on. This role will be responsible for installing and configuring the various servers and software components, ensuring the ongoing operation of the systems by standard maintenance, as well as building out capacity to meet growth. In addition, the role will be responsible for providing support, mainly focused on supporting the in house medical team who use the systems.
Technology Infrastructure Delivery
Manage integration and rollout of new systems and upgrades by contractors,
vendors, and staff
Provide technical leadership towards infrastructure design and strategy
Oversee and participate in the installation and configuration of new systems
and changes or upgrades to existing systems
Maintain all Telenor Digital’s Health project systems to minimize downtime
Help to grow and lead a team responsible for infrastructure, operational
maintenance, and in-house support
Create and implement processes to ensure maximum system availability
Manage and ensure quality of 24/7 support for internal teams
Implement and maintain support rota to ensure 24/7 support for key infrastructure
Technology Development Strategy
Lend technical expertise to the project’s leadership team to ensure
infrastructure development is robust and scalable
Desired Skills and Experience
Undergraduate degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
Candidates may compensate for lack of formal education with at least seven years of experience in one of the above disciplines.
At least 2 years experience leading technical teams, preferably in technology operations.
At least 5 years experience in technical systems operations.
Experience in cloud technologies
Experience in systems administration
Working fluency in English and Bengali
Graduate degree in operations management, systems engineering, or another related discipline Additional years of experience in the above fields
Experience with agile working methods
Experience in continuous integration
Experience with devops team structures Experience with healthcare IT or
digital health Experience working in a lean startup environment
