Myanmar’s MMTutors gets funded

MMTutors, Myanmar’s online tutor booking platform, has raised a five-digit dollar denominated investment led by Seed Myanmar, an early-stage technology fund. The round was also joined by Trust Venture Partners Myanmar, and angel investor Aung Htun.

The edtech startup will use this fund to rapidly grow with an aim to improve Myanmar’s education system.

“We established MMTutors to help eliminate the burdens of parents. Using the advancement of technology development, we are confident that we can make a promising change in the Myanmar education system. MMTutors will be a hub for tutors and customers, providing reliable tutors and a professional learning source to customers as well as part-time job opportunities to tutors,”

said Phoo Pwint Eain, Founder of MMTutors.
