The Grameenphone Accelerator unveiled the new batch of startups beginning their 4-month long acceleration journey yesterday at GPHouse.



Speaking at the event chief guest Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhit said, “Grameenphone has been doing really great job to help local grow faster through the GPAccelerator program. The top six teams have a great potential to solve real Bangladeshi problem and bring the Digital Bangladesh vision 2021 come into reality”.


Welcoming the new batch to GP House, Grameenphone CEO Petter-B Furberg said: “All the six teams have a great product and they are solving some critical problems.”


Grameenphone Head of Transformation, Kazi Mahboob Hossain said: “GPAccelerator is committed to help 50 high impact high potential Bangladeshi ideas go scale by 2021.”


Co founder of SD ASIA Fayaz Taher was the presenter of the event.


Minhaz Anwar, the Head of GP Accelerator, said: “We hope, with our support, these startups will make the lives of millions in Bangladesh and beyond easier, safer and more exciting.”


Speaking on the occasion Mustafizur R Khan, founder and CEO of SD ASIA said, “This time, in addition to our resident entrepreneurs and design support, we will provide dedicated expert mentor support in digital marketing, finance and product development for four months”.

Crowdware helps companies automate business processes by crowdsourcing work to a network of qualified contributors in developing countries.

JolPi Electronics:

JolPi Electronics  have launched ‘Sniffer’ which is a gas leakage alarm which starts to “beep” if the gas concentration in the kitchen goes over a safe limit. automates the communication channels between the doctors and patients.


Bankcomparebd is a platform for aggregation of financial instruments where an individual can compare rates from different banks and choose the most suitable one that serves their needs.


To make learning for kids fun and interactive, Microtech has developed ”Neelimar Bioscope”, an Augmented Reality (AR) application.



Bari koi is attempting to solve the complexity of explaining and finding addresses in Bangladesh.
