Sheba, Repto, Cramstack, Ennovision, BuzzAlly, and Socian- all these knows known names recently got together at the GPAccelerator Info Session: Meet The GPA Alumni. These graduated startups from batch 1 & 2 of GPAccelerator Program put up their stories in front of the audience attending the session. They talked about how their startup grew after joining this program.
The interactive info session was held at EMK Center in Dhanmondi. In the start, Adnan Imtiaz, CEO of Sheba shared his story and experience. Adnan said, “After joining the GPAccelerator program we had to modify all our initial plans regarding our startup. Taking suggestions from the expert mentors and in-house mentors, we started running our business as a service provider company based in Bangladesh. We learned all these from this accelerator program.”
Before joining the GPAccelerator program BuzzAlly’s cofounder Arnav Tanveer had very little idea about running a business and targeting customers. Learning from this program, he was able to create a map about how to structure a business in the right was and how to reach customers easily.
“Though the program has ended for us, but still we have contacts with the mentors and the SD ASIA team. They are still helping us with our various needs.” Mir Sakib, co- founder of Cramstack said this kind of good relation is very critical for expanding the business.
Tanvir Sourav, CEO & co-founder of Socian explained how this accelerator program is helping the tech startups. “The corporate businesses want their social analytics in a different way. After joining this program we got to understand the demand and market value of the corporate customer from the in-house mentors.
Repto’s CEO and co-founder talked about his passion regarding startups and his utmost interest to join the GPAccelerator program. He joined the program at the age of only 18 instead of attending his HSC exam. With the fund and mentorship from the program, he is planning to take his education platform forward. This accelerator program is helping potential startups to grow in spite of all they barriers they face.
