Users can download the free app from Apple Store or Google Play and sign up with their phone number and email. Uber driver will reach at the requested destination within minutes. At the end of the ride, users can simply “pay in cash”.
As they are starting with a limited number of cars in Bangladesh, primarily users might face a slight complication in availing the Uber rides. But soon they are looking forward to getting more driver-partners and cars on the road. Just in the first day, the Uber service was attempted by Bangladeshi cricket all-rounder Sakib-Al-Hasan.
Uber has also partnered up with Bangladesh’s leading telecom company Grameenphone. The Promo Code “UberBDLaunch” can be used to enjoy a free ride up to Tk 250 (New users only, valid until December 31st, 2016).
