MasterCard BD pushing card usage through campaign

This year MasterCard has started to officially expand its business in Bangladesh. Recently MasterCard has launched an unique campaign called ‘Card-Start-Go’ for its Debit card holders in Bangladesh. The campaign was launched on Sunday, and it is expected to run till May 31st. ‘Card-Start-Go’ is a nationwide campaign with participation from a number of banks such as BRAC Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, Premier Bank, Prime Bank, Pubali Bank and The City Bank. Under this campaign, whenever a MasterCard holder uses his/her Debit card for personal consumption transaction of minimum Taka 1000, they will immediately earn some points. To be eligible for this campaign MasterCard Debit Cardholders need to complete a minimum of 4 transactions of Taka 1000 each, during the entire campaign period. The top point scorer will earn more than 100 exciting prizes, which include air tickets to Malaysia for 2 nights and 3 days stay, mobile phones and gift vouchers.

MasterCard is eager to launch a full scale operation in Bangladesh. As the country is moving towards an cashless payment revolution, MasterCard believes it can create the most out of the opportunities the country presents.
